Interesting. I was after something like an R90/6 which does everthing, but without the points and carbs. Bonnie was just about "it". 450/550 not my style and they don't handle for sh*t.  Wink

Oddly, NO bike I've ever owned gets more looks and comments from both sexes, including some pretty exotic hardware. Must be non-threatening.

That looks familiar.

Is that in the parking lot of Devil's Backbone Brewing Company??

Good catch! (And I get thirsty a lot!) Best BBQ sandwich I've found in Central VA as well. The ale is just passable though. Pure gas 93 just up the road, so Devil's Backbone makes for a good lunch destination on a long ride. Here's the brewery.

Yep, that's the place.

I was up there last fall for a concert and some friends and I went there for lunch and some beers to watch the UNC/UVA football game.  Only time I've ever been there, but the burger and beers I had were great.

I was pretty sure that old train station and stage were the same ones.

Trailer the bike up there next time. Those "hills" are the Blue Ridge Parkway and there are great roads between the brewery and Lynchburg and east to Scottsville and back. Several excellent bike loops are possible. There must be some good spots to stay around Wintergreen.
