your termis happy ending story- here.
«

i've been putting off putting the termis kit on my m695, but after talking to my dealer, they can do it all for me fairly quickly when they do the 600mile service.
I am still trying to justify spending that much, so was hoping to get all the happy stories from some of you about how it was worth it..and some of the benefits.
thanks.;

I love the sound of the Termis on my 848. It was tough justifying the price of the system but in the end, I love it

you can get a serious exhaust system (many kinds) for less $$ & get in several other mods for what the termis will cost. ducati warranty is a factor. from what i've read, the fitment & quality is not what you'd expect for that amount of $$$$$$$.

Best mod I-ve done to the bike. The most important poart of the set up is actually the ECU that just wakes up the bike throughout the entire rev range

+1. Made a huge difference on my S2R in power and sound. The DP ECU is the majority of the cost but is the key to the kit IMO. Without the ECU they're no different than Zards, Arrows, Sils, Quat-D. Slip ons are slip ons.

Yes, it's a lot of money, but I can't tell you what a difference the Termi slip-on kit made to my '07 695. It's now the bike it always should have been. Starts better, idles better, has perfect fueling throughout the rpm range, sounds great and runs 40 degrees cooler. The open airbox sounds awesome when you crack the throttle. It'll amaze you. It's the best mod I could have made.

Closed Loop = No pcIII on 07 bikes, or at least a 695...

I'm getting my Termis installed this week, trying for tomorrow.
I heard a lot of great things about them, it's time for me to try it out myself.
I'm looking forward to have in on my 696. I'll give you my review once its on and start growling
regards

I love my Termi's. Looks, sound, and power. I didn't have any fitment issues. The quality of my entire system is top notch (but to be fair, there are complaints on this site about recent quality). No complaints here.

The difference is night and day on my S4Rs. I don't think I would ride a stock S4Rs now that I have experienced what the full Termi Exhaust w/ DP ECU and Open Airbox has done for the stock bike as far as performance and sound .

Ok, lets put this straight
There is NO other fully working exhaust system than the Termi slip on, ECU, open airbox system for the 695
At least here in Europa you need to meet the EURO 3 norm to run the bike street legal.
All those nice pipes from Arrow, Akrapovic, Sil and what else will NOT work correctly on the 695 without the ECU and the air filter.
I asked to buy the ECU and its around 700 bucks...plus 150 for the Filter.
In the end you will pay more for any other combination than just taking whats approved by DP
Maybe thats a different story for the old 600/620 but its like this for the 695.
So i will bite the bullet and shell out the 1100 for the full system in spring and be happy with it.
Also I like the idea of removable DB killers to not annoy my neighbors in the morning...just in evening

No warranty.
Nope, not true.
So you void the warranty if you put any system on other then a termi?
nah
