I sat on the EBR at the past moto show... never really sat on a bike that light before, I'd love to see how it does at the track.

I am guessing homologation for starters....I hadn't heard of it being an approved steed on any racing series list yet...

All AMA/DMG (ever) wants is to get fans in the seats, viewers in front of the telly, and bikes rolling out the showroom door...most casual (probably nearly all) TV viewers probably think homologation has something to do with gay/lesbian lifestyles and just want the 'Merican bike to win.
