I'm glad I rode in to work today. With I5 all make the beast with two backsed up, I was able to ride on past most of the traffic. Evil

It's gonna be effing hot out here next week... Supposed to hit 105 on Tuesday.

I ride in warmer weather than my brothers, and do it all geared up.  But 105 is just too hot for putting on a bunch of heavy black leather.  I think I'll be caging it with the A/C blasting next week.  Maybe I'll drive the roadster... top down in the cool(ish) morning, then drive home with the roof up and the A/C on in the heat of the afternoon.

In other news, I got the Hepco-Becker crash bars for my Cagiva.  With 5 miles of squirrelly gravel to ride every day, it's just a matter of time before the Cag takes a dirt nap.

I am so happy to have a dual-sport with a 900 Duc motor and aftermarket pipes.  That bike sounds fantastic.  It may only have 70 hp, but it's a hoot.  And comfy, too!  I was commuting from Sandy to Hood River a couple weeks ago (via 26 and 35), and the hour-and-a-half ride was quite pleasant.  Made that trip several times that week... Erica was helping her mother that week, so we stayed in Sandy.
