How many stops?
My driver had 136 stops with 240ish packages. All in a fairly rural area. I helped him with the 5 cases of 12 gauge.

That seems kind of excessive. Are you a bad shot?
Yesterday I had 138 stops/300+ pkgs, today it was 142/ 346 pkgs.
I got a helper that helped today as well.

I shoot clays...175 rounds/week. I try to keep ~2500 rounds on hand. Buy on sale with free shipping. Keeps me out of the Wally World store and their junk ammo...
and yes...I am a bad shot.

What shotgun are you using for such pursuits?
Buying in such bulk is as cheap as reloading?

I have an Ithaca/SKB model 600 for trap, and an SKB 505 Sporting for 5 stand. Both guns are older Japanese produced models.
At the prices I'm paying, ~$5/box, there is little savings in 12 gauge. If I did reload I could use higher quality components, but there's a substantial investment in equipment. If I was shooting sub gauge...28 gauge/.410 it would be worthwhile.

$5 a box is cheap. Cheap 12g here runs about $8 Aus so a similar price.
I hear you about better components, but you need to factor in the time also. A lot of shooters I know are flat chat with work and family so they don’t reload much now.
Don’t know much about those guns as I haven’t been back into shooting very long. I do recognize the names though.

Do they still get on the driver's case about overtime?
