The contract was ratified, 54% no vote, but less than 50% of eligible members voted, so a 2/3 no vote would've been needed to turn it down.

Is it a fair deal?

I thought so, I voted for it. There is some bad feelings about "22.4" drivers, a new classification created in this contract. 22.4 is the article in the contract. They will top out at $5 less than full time drivers, but they are combination jobs, driving and other work. Funny thing about those who disagreed with this is that they fail to mention the expansion of the feeder (semi-trucks) drivers by at least 2000 jobs that is in this contract. Feeder jobs are the highest paid jobs at UPS, and 2000 is the minimum to be created.

Love to discuss it, but then I'd ha :Pve to ban both of us.
Doesn't get more political than Unions, and contracts.

Looks like a week of nice fall weather, highs near 70, lows in the upper 40s.
