Our UPS guy goes on vacation from Thanksgiving to Christmas. He's retiring in about 8 months. I'll miss him.

That's odd. Maybe it is a local thing there, but in our area no one is allowed vacation from after the week of Thanksgiving to Christmas. It is funny that quite a few children of UPS drivers are born during that time, family leave is allowed.
