Was this their first day back from vacation?
How many drivers at your location?

So who delivers the packages on those routes when roughly half of the drivers are out sick?

Until the end of this week, we still have holiday drivers available. Next week will be interesting.

I did find out today that they're hiring 6 of the peak drivers on full time next week. That should help.

Picture of a 120mm tank round. To show how big it is, you can clearly see the aft cap.

Absences at work have dropped quite a bit in the last two weeks. Enough so that I got the day off today.

Probably a good thing. Your vacation has likely worn off by now.

I had the day off yesterday. Today my friend Mark had the day off, I told him we had donuts.

Last Wednesday was going good. Tacos for lunch, my favorite taco truck was in the area.
Then the dog bit me.
At least I got it on the head with the DIAD, although I don't think it noticed.
It got me on the knuckles of my right hand, lucky that I wear gloves all the time saved me from losing a chunk of skin.
A nice trip to the ER later for treatment, while waiting a filed the report with Animal Control.
Later I talked with a friend of mine who's a lawyer.

I had a package for the guy whose dog bit me. Much stink eye was given as I drove on by. He's going to have to pick that up from the UPS Store.
