The dish washer & range are in, the fridge is in. Waiting on the rest of the flooring, plumbing, and the range hood. Then the finishing work.

Apparently, so is your contractor.

How long has this project been going on?
Lisa must be pissed by now.

Considering when we did this in the other house, that took 9 months or so, it has been going pretty good so far.

Are you the contractor?

Nope, just the $ provider.
Had an electrician in yesterday to fix what the carpenter mis-wired.
Next week the flooring dudes will be back to re-do the flooring they messed up because they were in a hurry to finish the first time.
The contractor wasn't happy about that, but the flooring clearly isn't installed correctly. After, that the finish work on installing the appliances and the trim work on the base boards. Also the painter will be back to finish up the detail work.
It all seems to be a mess, but actually they've been good about fixing items Lisa has pointed out to them. She really likes how it has come together and she loves the kitchen now. Just part of the sausage making process in a remodel. Decisions made when the house was built or by previous owners create issues for this project. I'm sure sometime in the future someone will wonder why we did what we did & what we were thinking.
