Just another reminder of why it's important to have good safety gear... this guy was in a cage, and we're on bikes, sure, but he left the track at 95 mph after a brake failure (think: entering PIR turn 1 after a brake failure  )... just imagine your own body flipping through the air like that...  that expensive suit feels a lot more worthwhile now, doesn't it?

I was trying to find a way to not spend $1000 on a Dainese Laguna Seca suit.  After seeing crash pics like these, it has reminded me that a thousand bucks for proper safety gear is actually quite a good deal.

Speaking of crash pics... anyone know where those pics are of the red/silver MV Agusta F4 which had that epic crash at PIR last this year?

It took me two days to detox from that party... last night I felt like I could slit my wrists and bleed 140 proof. That is a hard life. Yikes. It was fun though.
