Wow, reminds how good we all have it these days.  I was 12 when I owned my last kick start bike and your last post just brought back a twinge of pain.

Finally saw Avatar.  Went to iMax 3D.  Never been to one of those before.

I can't even begin . . . The CG and stuff was great.

Storyline was somewhere between Pocohontas and Dancing w/Wolves.  I just wanted for it to end . . .

Glad I saw it in the theater in 3D but it didn't really feel like I got my $15 worth.

It's a cross between Pocahontas, Fern Gully, and Halo.  Wink

Just picked up a new Oregon Motorcycle Manual from the DMV...Starting in January 2011, Oregon is requiring anybody under 31 to successfully complete a rider education course. By 2015, all ages will be required to pass the class. As of right now, anyone under 21 needs to pass the class first. Did anybody know of these rules??

The penalty for riding unendorsed is a Class A traffic violation, which carries a fine of up to $720.

Didn't notice any other real changes in the book. However, I haven't read through it completely... just a spot read.

That's odd that they implemented it but a good thing I think.  Why cut off at 31?  A lively throttle brings out the irresponsible kid in all of us Smiley  But it's good, I think everyone should take both driver and rider training before getting their license.  We'd all be safer.

Yeah, it was all over the pnw riders site. I like it personally, but I also like that they are grandfathering in those of us who haven't taken Team Oregon but have our endorsement (at least, I think they are).

Scott, they're stepladdering it. This year, its everybody under 21. Next year, 31. Year after, 41. And so on. Here's a post talking about it: http://pnwriders.com/portland-region/120955-senate-bill-546-team-oregon-class-requirement-age-minimum-change.html
