Sigh! Just got a DNA letter ... Cracked fuel lines in the proximity of the fuel pump attachment  Undecided

Actually, did not read correctly. That applies to ALL 2012 Monsters.

I never got ANY NHTSA recall on the affected fuel tank on the S2R.   bang head

Silly question. You are not forced to have the recall work be done by the same dealer where you bought the bike, right?
Or, IOW, a dealer where you did not buy the bike, cannot refuse to perform the recall work, right?

Correct, you are not forced to have the recall work done at the dealer where you purchased the bike.  You can have the recall work done by any Ducati authorized dealer/service.

I received the Ducati recall letter for the crack fuel lines last week and my dealer called me this week about another recall on my Monster Evo 1100 regarding the potential of crack spokes on the rear wheel.  My dealer will perform all the recall work at my 600 mile service later this month.  I believe the spoke recall is limited to the Monster Evo 1100.

DUCATI IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011-2012 MONSTER 1100 EVO MOTORCYCLES, MANUFACTURED FROM JANUARY 17, 2011, THROUGH JANUARY 24, 2012 AND EQUIPPED WITH REAR RIMS MARKED WITH CODE DU6-RR. OVER TIME, THE SPOKES ON THE REAR WHEEL RIM MAY DEVELOP CRACKS.

Consequence:
CRACKS MAY LEAD TO FAILURE OF THE REAR WHEEL RIM, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy:
DUCATI WILL NOTIFY OWNERS, AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE REAR WHEEL RIM, FREE OF CHARGE. DUCATI HAS NOT YET PROVIDED THE AGENCY WITH AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DUCATI AT 1-800-231-6696 OR GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AT WWW.DUCATI.COM.
