Great write up Tommy.  Good getting out there with you guys, I think I was getting cabin fever.  I got home at about 11:30, maybe one of these days we will get home at the time we estimate  laughingdp

Thanks for setting it up GC.  Glad that bundle of newspaper was burning in the road and not on your bike.

Ordering EZpass for the bike tonight. (finally)

Here's the first video upload from the ride (the other video will be uploaded here in a bit, so just search for the other one) ...a few days late, but still here nonetheless. Again, the wavy effect takes away from the speed & is why I will be getting rid of this cam. I may be getting another cam, but depends on some eBay items.  Grin

If that's the best you guys got then I'm not all that impressed by RC51s.  Wink

True...those videos do a real disservice to our pace.  Embarrassed I wasn't going to bother posting them, but was angry about the weather & watching these crappy videos made me a little happier.  Smiley

Yeah, one of the things I hate about most videos, you really lose the sense of the speed.  bang head
However, watching his lean angles and almost touching knee shows that the pace was not too slow.

Could the distortion be from your windscreen?

I wish. It's to do with the crap compression software that the cam uses to write to the SD card. It records fine if there's little/no shaking, but as soon as some is introduced you get the wavey effect. The only real solution is to get a better setup.

Fu Manchu?

While you do lose some sensation of the speed we were going, it does show how fun the roads are AND I agree with Lethe - showing GC's and your lean angles show the pace as being something a wee bit faster than "cruise." waytogo

True the video quality needs work, but it would help a tremendous amount if you guys could bump up the sound quality. Hearing those twins roar down the road nice and clear would add so much to the sensation of speed.

I know, but that means I'd have to pay money for a decent editting software.  Embarrassed

I'll look into that tonight. Not sure it will be able to get rid of the wavy effect though.
