WWSDD? Why Anal of course!

« on: March 16, 2012, 06:07:41 AM »

14/16 so far. VCU and Colorado were sort of unexpected.
And kudos to the 'Clones for knocking off defending champs, UConn in the first round...of course, they are going to get their poop pushed in by Kentucky now but good on em for making it this far.

Not much of a basketball fan overall but I do enjoy the tourney.

Man I can't wait for Ohio to beat the Wolverines tonight.  Grin  Lot of pent up frustration from Hoke and Belien calling Ohio State- Ohio

Just like always my bracket it already screwed. Gambled too much on upsets and it hurt me. Colorado really hurt me.

I'm really hoping the Buckeyes can make it out of the Sweet 16 this year. Melo being ineligible opened the door to the final four but Gonzaga won't be an easy game at all. I can't tell if Sullinger is hurt or was just disinterested last night but my boy Deshaun Thomas was killing it.  He might be playing himself into a lottery pick.

I am an Indiana University graduate (both undergrad and MBA) and am happy the Hoosiers are back in the tournament and looking good. However....I wanted to punch the announcers last night. They really were hating on IU for some reason.

I hope Gonzaga throws the hurt on Ohio State tomorrow.

Funny I was at the Big Ten Tournament last week for Friday and Saturday.  I didn't see Indiana play? What happened?  Loved seeing the "We're Back" shirts all the Hoosier fans were wearing. Didn't see OSU or Michigan State fans wearing shirts saying "We never left".

But seriously, I hope Indiana takes down KY again.  I'm a Big Ten fan and am only routing against Michigan because they are playing Ohio U.

I've watched the Zags for over a decade now.  Last game was the best they have played all year.  If the same team keeps showing up they will go a long way in this tourney.  Trouble is consistency.  Kids this young are up and down.  I can't wait for the game with the Buckeyes.  By the way having a tree for a mascot is way cool, best thing I can say about Ohio State until this game is over.

Tree?  No tree mascott for Ohio State.  Nut- yes, Tree- no.  I know, I know semantics.

I watched the Gonzaga/WVU game yesterday. Gonzaga did play great and I'm willing to bet Sullinger has trouble with Sacre but the Zag's haven't seen a defense anywhere near as good as OSU's and Craft will shut down Pangos and Bell.

Ohio State's success in this tourney is directly tied to William Buford.  He had a bad night last night (has had a lot of those this year) but if he is scoring the Buckeyes are extremely hard to beat on a neutral court. Lots of Buckeye fans will be in Pittsburgh.

It is a poisonous nut Grin

The problem Ohio State has had all year is consistency. When they are on their game.....great team. When they are off....it is miserable. During the tourney you have to be on 100% of the time or you will lose (i.e. like Syracuse almost losing).

I just don't see Ohio State keeping up a consistent level of play.

As for the announcers....it was during the game last night. It just didn't make a whole lot of sense.

I personally think Michigan State is the team to watch. They are a great ball team. At the end of the day, I won't lose sleep if IU loses, not that kind of person. However....I would like to see the Big 10 succeed (except for OSU)

Dude blew out his knee and IU played flat in the next game.  Last night it looked like Crean got their heads right again.  I'm glad IU has their act together - it is nice that all the IU grads I work with are no longer suicidal all the time... it was three years of keeping sharp objects away from my boss and assistant.

I went to BSU, but I cheer for IU hoops since BSU only has intramural basketball.  (That's my story and I'm sticking to it)
