So the shop I went to Saturday had a Pike Peak in stock...
Oh my it's nice.
Just take off and store that silly carbon "windshield" and replace it with a nice smoked high version.
Does anyone know if you can mount bags to the Pikes peak?
Imagine the bags all done up in the same color pattern, grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I would think so as it looks like there's only cosmetic changes.
All I know is my Mega Millions ticket better pay off...

Pikes is really only cosmetic AFAIK - so you could get the bag kit for it. Of course you'll need the bags and the mountings. Double check with a dealer - but as I understand it it's the S-Sport with the flash body kit, the short screen and that's about it.

Yup. Saw the one my dealer got side by side with an S Sport and the differences are only cosmetic. Biggest reason I went with the Touring. Of course, I now find myself wanting the black bits replaced with the CF bits...but not at the prices Ducati wants.  I got my top box mounted up last night and have to say that I love the quick release system. It makes it easy to add and remove the bags. Robin loves having a backrest as her biggest fear on the bike is falling off the back. hehe. |

Fixed that for you Something definitely needs fixin'.  Took the wife for her first longish ride on the bike. Apparently, me dragging my left hand through turns induces her reactionary mechanism which is to kidney punch me while shrieking into her helmet. LOL. I could see a few track days in the Multi's future but still a bit leary about wadding my shiny new $20k bike...  |

Planning on doing some off the beaten path adventures this week. Level B surface roads around here are "minimum maintenance" roads.
Have to say that as a commuter, she is 57181789 times the bike the Monster is. But the Monster still beats her ass when it comes to back alley brawler attitude.
I am trying to remedy that but the carbon bits are fluckin' spensive.
