each time i see that i'm totally amazed.
i can't imagine how many times he must have fallen while practising.
the new Ridge Motorsport Park is close to me and they plan to make autocross a big part of their program. i hope they will allow bikes because i'd be all over this!
note the size of his rear sprocket. Shocked

if you notice on the cbr it looks like the rear sprocket is changed for lower gearing, also the handlebars are there not clip ons, and also look a tthe front fender looks like they may have lowered the bike so that it turns a bit bewtter.
but i agree i looks like if you practice enough a monster should be able to do that stuff with the proper mods.

Maybe with some modification?  I took my '07 Monster back to the MSF course I did a year ago.  I tried to do the figure-8 in the long, narrow box and while I had no problem with the Honda I rode at the time, I couldn't do it on my Duc due to the limited turning radius of the bike. That's not to say that someone more skilled than myself couldn't pull it off...

boo The lousy steering lock on my Evo would ensure that you fell off at the first cone! Especially with me at the controls!

Dont worry.. I cant either and I have alot of access to the box!  I can make the left easily. But the turning radius (m1100) places the throttle almost completely against the tank when attempting to make the right.  counter weighting, while my right thumb is trapped between tank and throttle is not fun.

I also have clipons which are more swept back than stock handbars, which complicates matters.
