Good to here the gear did it's job. Watching the pavement slide by your face is an interesting feeling
After riding for several years, rain still puts me on edge. I'll do it, but I'll be sightly uncomfortable the entire time (and NOT because the chopped tail is flinging water up my back, and down the back of my pants)
If I could of predicted the future, I would of had some spares for you. I just off loaded some mirrors and pegs to a guy in Ft. Worth. I've got a set of handlebars in the garage, but they're prebent in the same manor as yours are now. I'd give you the ones off my 620, since I'm not riding it, but I might not be able to sell it stripped
I promised my wife a couple months ago that I'd either put my bike into storage or sell it when we have a baby. She's afraid I'll get taken out by a texter and she'll ahve to raise it on her own.
Once it hits school age, I'm allowed back on the road
I thought about arguing with her about it, but I figured I'd loose that fight...so I'm getting everything ready to sell. That's why I've dumped all my spare parts. Bike will be next. I can't ride right now anyways until I have surgery.
