That's insane.  You can watch the front and back tires jumping across the pavement.  That has to be hell to hang on to.

I read somewhere a comment from a Bridgestone rep where he said it didn't look like "usual" chatter.  He descibed it as low frequency (?) chatter where the tire grips and lets go and grips and lets go.  Lemme see if I can track it down.

I *hope* he's right.  Cuz if that's what "usual" chatter looks like, I'm certain that'd get off the bike immediately, curl into a ball at the nearest flag station and cry for my mommy til they brought the scooter to cart me off to my shrink.  I certainly wouldn't ride it race distance at speeds over 200 mph.

ben was quoted as saying the bike felt like it had knobbies on during the race.  yiiiikes.

I remember seeing Rossi's bike have that kind of chatter in one slow-mo sequence last year.

Except it was the front, and the tire bounced about 4 times then folded.  Tongue
