termi silencer guard

So i got the cf termi installed on my monster 696.On the left side the little black silencer guard is touching the can just a little. Has anyone had the problem? or is it just normal for it to touch a little.

the guards attach with a speednut that can move around a little bit. try loosening it up and moving it around.

if you take it all the way off just keep track of what spacers go where.

dont over tighten it or it will crush the little green fiber washers into dust.
