When I looked at the program guide on Sat morning it said the race was on channel 10, now it say's it was on One HD this morning, not sure what happened, I couldn't watch it due to work.

   Here's a race report    http://www.crash.net/motogp/race+report/182464/1/stoner_breaks_lorenzo_for_us_motogp_victory.html

Yep, Rossi to Yamaha is official.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/101761

I think it has damaged his reputation. Earlier this month he was denying such rumours. Now he has chucked it in, resigned to the fact he couldn't sort the Duc out. I'm sure this is making Casey grin inside his helmet.

Casey is truly the big winner in all this. His reputation and legacy are solid now.

I cannot believe Ducati is not going to put another rider on the GP this race... they could at least use the track time for testing.

Seems like Stoner is out for maybe 5 of the remaining 7 races.

We will have to get used to his absence a lot earlier than expected.

Damn. That just sux.  Hope he heals fast and avoid permanent damage.

I guess this means he needs to cancel retirement and make a go for it one more time (yes I know unlikely)

How about for his last race we drop him back on the Ducati, to show Rossi how to ride it!
