I never done track day bfore but let me ask all you experts here, since summit point is about hour and half ride. Would it be possible to just ride there sunday morning do the track and may be rest at hotel that night and head back next morning?

Yes - people sometimes ride up and back the same day (Massimo, didn't you do this?)

I wouldn't recommend it since A) you might be really tired at the end of the day and B) if something happens and you can't ride home there's a problem.

Staying at a nearby hotel is a good idea.

So let's figure some transportation details out....

Here's the list as I think it stands. Feel free to copy/paste/fill in/correct as appropriate.
Meerkat Jim-currently no trailer-Sun & Mon
"Skip rope" Panda Ian-trailer no truck-Sun & Mon (flexible)
Autohag "I hope by bike isn't still in pieces" Brian-SUV can tow/has one rail trailer?
Tocino grande! (in his own mind) Steve-one extra spot
Track Addict Venomousr1993 Randy-no spots if his work buddy is riding with him?-Sun & Mon
99Zulu who I met, but can't remember his name-no trailer
Joe 'deep pockets' P-?

Some other possibilities include
My wife won't let me go Lars-no trailer/dead truck?
I'm leaving early to drive fancy foreign cars Frank-pick up?

A friend has an open spot in his trailer. He's driving up but not riding. Going up and coming back on Sunday.

Reg'd too - though Sunday only. The mighty thumper will need a rest and will probably be tired of looking at the ass end of everything but a 600 carby monster in the straights.

It's the wabbit track at Rosaryville State Park. Actually it's the tandem class at last year's cyclocross race.
