Tail Chop PDF Instructions

getting itchy to chop the tail but can't find the nerve to actually do it...  From the look of the PDF, it might be pretty straight forward to make the brackets for brake light/turn signals/plate holder. 

So what are you guys' opinion on losing the turn signals and going with the intergrated brake light?  Is it legal?  I think I like the intergrated look better.  Less clutter.
