Since we will be moving to the Big Island sometime in the future I figured I should look into passing inspection. What do they look for? The only thing I'm concerned with is my tail light. I have an integrated LED with the turn signals built in. They are way brighter than DOT but that doesn't mean they are "legal" as far as the book goes.

Don't know about the Big Island, but DOT turn signals are a must on oahu...

I passed inspection last fall with integrated tail lights.
