Anyone ever cut out the face of the covers and replace with clear plexi? I was considering this on my 99 750 dark.

i ended up cutting my covers on my own and ended up botching the inspection cover on the horizontal cylinder. Took it off traced the old one and cut a piece of lexan out for it, threw a led behind it and bam held up just fine and looks pretty cool if i say so myself.
