Well, I was successful in selling my M1100.  I just wasn't giving it the love it deserved since I had 6 bikes till I sold the 1100.  I'm sure it went to a good home; a guy my age (56) that is getting his first bike after 30 years away from owning.  He still has riding skills because his son has a 999 that he occasionally rode.  He said he had to give up bikes to marry his wife, she gave him that ultimatum (he must really love her) but she finally gave in and "let" him get another bike.

That evening I get an email from Northwest Honda / Ducati where I bought the M1100 about the Streetfighter 848 Matte Black.

Sell another bike and give in.  Life is short and you are getting older.  I'm 62 and I often wonder how much longer can I ride a stupid fast bike and not be a danger to myself.  You are at the age to stop putting things off.  Now is the time to get that bike Dolph, take that vacation you've always been dreaming about, and have sex with a supermodel while you can still get it up.

DO IT

The only thing better would be the big brother Streetfighter.  waytogo to both.

I was about to post a similar thread. I received a call from my local dealer letting me know that they have three sf848's in stock.   drool but they don't do demo rides  boo.  I'm so ready for a new bike, or used bike.

 Has anybody tested one yet?

Which of your bikes do you ride the most? The list of bikes on your signature line is missing some kind of sport bike.  Smiley

My dealer just got two in. A red and a yellow one. They are turning the yellow one into a demo and they are going to have a 1199 panigale demo. I will ride and film both and update you.

I want the red 848SF bad!

Since my dealer called about a month or so ago, I've been resisting, but finally decided to demo ride it this coming weekend.

I hope I don't succumb to the urge, or do I?  Grin  I'm still leaning toward buying another monster, not a SF.  We'll see.

He said he had to give up bikes to marry his wife, she gave him that ultimatum.

That is just wrong on so many levels.  You saved a life.  You owe it to yourself to have the bike of your dreams.
