Yeah, good for Nicky! waytogo bow down

It would be nice to see Spies next to him.

Kind of telling that Rossi no longer comments on what they can do to make the bike "better" but rather says what they can do to make the bike "less worse"

I think the guy has given up.

(((((((((((((((((((SPOILER QUALIFYING))))))))))))))

Rossi is a miserable 13th place qualifying, however, that is only 3.4 seconds off pole.
That's not the end of the world. Ya, 1,.......2,........3,..4. but still, not the end of the world.

Way to go NICKY! fookya!

The Ben in 11th? WTF?

I'm a big Spies fan but if doesn't get consistant decent/podium finshes I just don't see his contract getting renewed. Maybe he needs to go back to WSBK. Some folks just don't get MotoGP. And he was raised in the SBK world. Can't believe I am saying that but even after his WSBK championship I never seriously thought he would do it again in MotoGP. No more than I thought Colin Edwards would do it.

Does that make me bad? laughingdp

Tires... yes. The soft front went south.

That was a hell of a ride by Stoner. I think he served notice by taking J Lo on his home turf, with the full complement of douches in the stands, and on a track that favors the Yamaha over the Honda. The longest straight is about as long as the average driveway.
Great racing early on. I didn't expect Crutchlow to be as good as he is.

3/5 top 5 bike 2 "non factory", pretty impressive IMO.

Crap move by crutchlow on Nicky in first lap or 2.

A good race.  applause

Banging handlebar action at the start, and riding on the edge of worn tyres at the end.
Pity Nicky's tyres went off so suddenly, it looked a big drop in a short time. Nicky has adapted better than you know who.

Very impressed with Casey and Jorges riding on the edge with worn tyres, real high pressure racing. Both had moments when the other could have won. I thought Jorge had him as the Yamaha looked more stable, but Casey rode the wheels off the Honda despite it being all out of shape.

Going back to 1000cc was a good idea.
