Hey guys, please check out my video of one of my favorite rides: Lecco to Bellagio along the shore of Lake Como.  I did it last Saturday, my first proper ride after two weeks of non-stop rain. I'm riding my '07 S2R 800.  Enjoy!

Nice ride  waytogo

I was close last summer - by the Garda lake - not as nice scenery by that lake as the Como, but coming over the mountains from Madonna de Campiglio and down to the lake... WOW  Shocked

Still can't find the tiny village we stayed in, on top of a cliff overseeing the north side of the lake. If you have any idea what it is you'll recognize this castle/private house. Our hotel was just behind - the picture is taken from the hotel garage.

... and keep those ride videos coming - I'm riding through the same area this summer as well.

Beautiful place, my wife and I took the road from Splugen down to Griante just last year. An open top car though, almost as good as on a bike. Thanks for sharing and bringing back same wonderful memories.

@stopintime never been to Garda but I plan to this summer. I'll keep an eye out for that fort/castle.  Descending from Madonna di Campiglio must've been spectacular!

@brimo what's splugen like?

Travelled via the SS36, what a road!
Splugen is beautiful, only stopped there for lunch though. Looks as if there is some very nice walks to be done around there. We were passing through there last northern summer on a grand drive from Paris to the Italian lakes and back through Provence. Spent a couple of weeks at the lakes, will go back again for sure.

Beautiful ride. That area is on the wife & my list for our next trip to Italia. Maybe by then I'll have her riding too.

Nice video! That looks like a ride-of-a-lifetime kinda ride!

For those that live state side, how would you go about planning a trip like that?  Rent a bike?  Or Ship your own?  I have a buddy from Czech republic who lives here now, said he was gonna ship his bike home when he went on vacation for 3 weeks bc it would only cost him $600... Sounds doable if you go for long enough as I presume that's a one way ticket.  Anyone have experience doing that, or other creative ways to ride out of country?

Nice ride!
I remember that area to be quite hilly when I visited my aunt in Nesso back in 2005.  Some great roads there  Dolph
