Lost my kickstand bolt
«
on:

This morning as i lifted the kickstand it felt a little different, it has been raining a lot so i havent taken the bike out for a week so i was thinking it was just me, I just got to work and took a closer look and the bolt is missing. My friends monster which i park next to has his bolt. Any one know where i can quickly get a replacement bolt ? the kickstand is working still but the bike could easily tip if it come off. Is that something i can get for free from the dealer? The bike is less then 6 months old.

more importantly, without that bolt, you're putting extra stress on the bolt that still IS in place... which could fracture/crack the engine case (at least this is true on the older bikes).
Get something quick. If the bike is 6months old, call your dealer.

That's it. Bike's totalled. Sell it for what you can get for it and start over.
No, seriously, call the dealer, see if they've got one in stock. If not, ask them for the specifics on what type of bike it is and find yourself a local Fastenall outlet. They should have something.
Worst case scenario, Lowe's/Home Depot should have something that could tide you over for a little while.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Made an appointment for Saturday but now I'm scared that the weight of the bike will hurt the transmission case as its somewhat pushing on it. Try to call them to go pickup the bolt today at least.

Spoke to the dealer they gave me the bolt dimensions and I'm picking one up after work.

Pretty easy with nakedbikes to lean them up against a wall
. It's what I've done when I've run mine at the track without the kickstand, and when I'm being lazy with one of the race bikes with no stand...

Mine kept getting loose. So this time, we put a wire as you can see in the picture to hopefully keep it in place.

I got a replacement form the shop. Did you try some of that glue they use after putting the bolts in to keep them from vibrating off ?
