Been there, done that.

Wasn't able to get a pic of them this weekend, but if you're interested in a back shot with them on, I can see if I can get to my bike to do that.

I would be interested in seeing a pic.

From the back:

Distance on the left (about 3.5 inches from frame tube):

Distance on the right (about 7.5 inches from frame tube):

Shot from the left, notice that it is only a single stay from the upper to lower mounts, unlike the right side which is a hoop:

Shot from the right, the frame actually is in contact with the heat shield:

Upper mount...the frame plugs are IN there pretty good (as in, I couldn't get them out today):

Lower mount replaces the passenger peg pin:

Did I miss any angles?  :P

THANKS!!!

It's great to see that frame. I'm going to have to put my bags back on my bike tonight and make the call if I want to buy a frame or see if I can strap something to my seat that will raise the bags up so they don't sit on my exhaust.

This is what I ended up doing and it worked well for 3000 miles in 8 day.

The changes I made after the photo. I got a short mm eye bolts for the front strap that attached to the rear peg mount and I attached a strap across the back. The Pelican box is held on with 2 cinch straps that go over the frame and under the grab bars. The only issue I ran into was if the box wasn't tight enough and I went down really rough down hill sections of road it would creep forward but that only happened once.

I'm still thinking of better options but this should work for any trips this year.
