Just read in local bike mag that Hayden's bike had a problem with the sat nav and ecu. The bike got lost on the track and the ecu gave the wrong power, engine braking etc at different parts of the track. Hayden diplomatically said it was "quite dangerous".  It cut power on the staight and then add it in the wrong place causing him to nearly lose the front.
In light of that he did a good job to finish the race.

which says to me...the need for rider safety starts with the right hand twisting the throttle and controlling that stuff...sorry...but that kind of crap shouldn't dictate the machines capability to perform, no matter where it is...that stuff should all be passive read only devices IMHO...

Yeah, it reminds me of when Suzuki and Aprillia had a "ghost in the machine". Those guys got pretty beat up, Edwards, Hopper and Haga.
Glad he got through ok.

Amen to that.  Having unleashed that technology will they ever throw it overboard and just go back to man and machine? Not.

If the electrics were cluster make the beast with two backsed why couldn't he just flip a switch and shut it all down and go old school and ride the bike? Don't people ride bikes these days using the throttle and brakes? Just asking... popcorn

Yeah, they just grab full throttle at mid corner and let the electronics do the rest.

looks like the Mole will replace Edwards for the next 2 rounds....

I think they would have done better to have gotten Corser personally....

Yeah, I don't know about Verm filling in for CE. His leg injury reminds me of the Hopper. Enough is enough. Save your body for old age. What kind of super performance do you think he will produce in 2 rounds on a back marker CRT bike? Let some kid have a shot at it. popcorn bacon Dolph

Finally sat down and watched the Moto3 race. Great battle between Cortese and Vinales. Vinales was PISSED.

Absolutely agree. Unfortunaely, I like Vinales. At least he is one Spaniard that doesn't look like his face is going to shatter when he smiles and he is most definitely passionate. Unlike Brian Wy McBrittleFace.

Brian Wy McBrittleFace.

Solid work right there.  waytogo

Cortese's post-race quote singlehandedly made me a GIANT fan of his.
