The weather spoiled Race 1...safety reasons...

cancelled after a red flag.

Rumor is that Hopkins broke his foot in a crash just before the red flag.

Seems Pirelli screwed the pooch for this weekend.

The wets wouldn't last more than a lap or two, and neither would the intermediates. Both were way too soft.

It had to be dry or no racing. When it started raining in race two it was called after 8 laps and half points were awarded.

Yawn.

+1.  Considering where Checa finished last year in Monza, I was fully expecting Checa to give up 40 pts to Biaggi or Sykes over the weekend.    I will take 2 pts!
