Those of you who run the full system, Do you run with the stock ECU and filter? Is that an option? Or do you pretty much have to run the DP ECU and PCIII, and K&N? Also, the pictures that I find show that the manifold coming off the head is smaller for about 10 inches. then it grows to the 50mm. Is this true? And if so, does it hinder the flow? I am close to making the decision, I just dont want to wish that I would have run the Termis and DP ECU.

full system on 2007 S2R1000.
Was getting a rapid bike for it, but rapid bike modules were frying 2007+ ECU's.
Had the full system with stock ECU. Got a lot of "farting" on deceleration with stock ECU.
Added a DP ECU bike feels a lot sharper no farts or pops.
The ducati dealer who installed it said because of the stepper motor, he can't get the idle below 1500rpm Angry
The idle is annoying, it can idle up to 1900 (randomly)

Don't know if the small to large header has any affect.
I'm going to get boom tubes or modify the udder, Zards are going (only going because I want something a bit radical, changing the look)

Zard does use the stock OEM piece coming off the back cylinder. 45 mm OD for about 10 inches., then 50 mm. Full  50 mm OD coming off the front cylinder. My 07 S4RS was running good with modded Air box & K&N filter & stock ECU. I am still waiting for a update from Rapid Bike, so far that system is not yet working 100% with the 07 S4rS

I think "Big T" has a DP ECU & Zards on his 07 S4RT & had his bike dynoed with just over 130 RWHP.

I have the Zards on my S2R 800 and it runs great on stock ECU and intake. However, I did get a PCIII along with it. Once I install the K&N and open airbox lid, I will hook up the PCIII to compensate for the leaner A/F ratio.
