Cmon that lion is  was a wild animal.  Riding around the death bowl is the only excitement he ever gets.  Trust me if you went from chasing antelope while fending of hyenas and having sex whenever you wanted into a cage with 3 meals a day given to you, you would strap on a helmet and go for a ride too.
