It puts the billet aluminum on the motorcycle...

I had to learn not to use the foot out technique when I started riding on the street. I like to jump off high curbs. I think there is still a nice high one on Park Presidio & Fulton unless they lowered the sidewalk. Now you can ride up on the sidewalk pretty easy too, with just a slight blip of the throttle you just loft the front wheel over the curb 3 or 4 inches and ride down some pedestrian paths.  Evil

If I'm going to start jumping things on an orange bike, I think I need a horn that plays Dixie and a big 01 on the side:

Hmm...now I'm starting to get ideas:

The slick setup would be to get another set of wheels with knobbies on them. Then go find yourself a gravel pit and start making tracks and jumps. After a few weeks of that, you can put the street setup back on and just tear up the town.

Or maybe you should get a CRF and start racing at Dixon and Marysville/Yuba city on the weekends. Then put your dirt skills to use on the street.

This should point you in the right direction.

Congrats!

Once you go 'tard you never go back.

Isn't that mostly because getting the lobotomy reversed isn't too easy?

;-)

big (Looking forward to having a ride on that in August Joe! And thanks for the booze…)

...but aren't the forks valved differently for the SMC's?

Thanks! Saw your beautiful new machine at Desmotosport on Tuesday. Can't wait to see it in tiger stripes. And with an exhaust pipe Grin
