waytogo As I am undertaking a longish Euro jaunt next month, and as the standard seat on my Evo is somewhat lacking in the comfort stakes, I've ordered a Sargent replacement. What can I expect? Anybody got one? I should get it by the end of next week, so I'll post back then!

I had one on my old 01 M900, and I can honestly say, that was by far the best mod/money spent on that bike hands down without question or reservation!!!...I am currently thinking about sending my current seat on the Gran Canyon to them to have them redo it...

I replaced my stock 07' 695 seat and it has done wonders. No more crushing of my junk and it's taller so i have some more legroom. Worth every penny.  waytogo

I have one on my 796 and I find it quite a bit more comfortable than the stock seat.

Fitted mine from new. Doesn't totally cure the problemt but is flatter, so less sliding into the faux tank. Tech Spec pads are also useful at low speeds (I'm 5' 8"). http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/621500SS/Protection/621500SS.html

Yup, I have the same and tech spec tank pads are awesome, it is funny how they work right away!! Only issue I had with them was not sticking properly around the curved part of the tank. Sad I'm also 5'8" lol!!

No problem here. My dealer installed mine from new. I believe he's had some practice.  Cool The pair my son installed on his ST4s slipped a little and he had to clean off some excess adhesive, but no other issues whatever.

same bike, same sentiment.

I also have a corbin and I hate it, but keep it for two-up riding as the sargent isn't much good for the passenger.

waytogo My seat arrived today! It fits perfectly, is beautifully made and looks ace. It certainly feels comfy just sitting on it in the garage, but until this typical English summertime weather dries up, I won't be doing a road test. However, I feel sure that it will get the thumbs up!

the other thing you can do while it is parked in your garage, is play with how much stuff you can fit in that tube!!!....it holds a lot more than you think!!!

boo Not on the Evo. The power valve controller takes up most of the space, leaving just enough room for a very slim toolkit. Shame.
