So, I was a member of DML about four years ago.  I got my first Monster about a year after being on the board and asking questions to the very helpful and friendly members.  I had my Monster for less than a month before I got ran off the road, high-sided, and totaled my bike.   Luckily I walked away unscathed.  It was a used bike, but it had every mod that I wanted done to it already.  I didn't have the heart to settle with another bike.

I've spent the past two years stationed in South Korea, so a new bike wasn't an option.  I'll be coming home in a few months, so I decided I would start looking again.  That's when I fell in love with the new 696.  It's so sleek and sexy, definitely a new age Monster.  I went back to the old DML and was surprised that I now had to pay for membership (forgot my old account info).  I found this link on google, and decided that I should pick up where I left off.

A lot has changed since I last owned a Monster.  Since then I've gotten married, and my first child was born two weeks ago.  I've been out of it for a while now and will probably have a lot of questions.  Thanks for all the help I received previously and I look forward to sharing an obsession with you guys again.

I look forward to sharing an obsession with you guys again.

In the words of my friend Nick: "It's not an obsession. It's a Ducati."

Welcome back! Both to the forum, and to the States.

And congrats on the ankle biter!  chug

Home for me is Houston, Tx. (where my dad lives) Tampa, Fl (where my mom lives), and wherever the army decides to send me.  Should be in San Angelo, Tx in a few months.
