So which helimot gloves do you recommend then for everyday riding and twisty ? Can't afford two gloves but trying to decide on one glove from helimot.

For an everyday riding glove in normal conditions I'd go with the Buffalo Pro. It seems like the H20 (what I have) with a couple features useful for street riding (like the visor wiper). If you never ride in the rain though, and do track days, the H20 would also be good, and the Summer glove looks nice if it's really hot where you live.

Helimot gloves have somewhat narow fingers. Not too narrow, but if you have sausage fingers they might not be for you. If your fingers are normal though you should be fine. That said, they'll be tight at first, but will eventually break in. I rubbed mine down with leather conditioner (like you would a new baseball mitt) when I first got them and it helped a lot. They're great gloves after they're broken in.  [thumbsup]

Thx Triple J.  What do you think of the the B-11? The description seems like it is h20 but better?
Its interesting their website contact link has an old number but atleast if you call it, you get the new changed number.

The B-11 looks fantastic. It'll be my next race glove. Not sure when I'll need it though...I'm finishing up my 2nd race season with my H2Os and they still look almost new...despite a lowside at about 80mph where my left hand slid on the ground, yet the glove is hardly damaged at all.  [thumbsup] Quality!

That's weird on their phone #, but you've got to cut them some slack. They're truly a mom and pop shop, and they're in the process of switching locations. My guess is website design isn't their forte!  [laugh]

I just talked to the owner and had my questions answered and had a really great short conversation.  I already like him and seems like a nice gentleman.  :-)  I am about to send my glove tracing and hopefully order the B-11 to use for track one day soon and for my twisty rides.  Hopefully I can even use it for daily if it not a hassle even though it is probably over-kill as explained to me.

okay I think I might just be the first one to actually answer the question on this thread...

Dainese 4-Stroke is what I recommend.

Why? superior protection to some of the other Dainese gloves and they look bad-ass.

There ya go.

Ordered helimot - b-11 black & neon.

Selling point for my decision was the fact that it's made in US and I rather support local made and reading all reviews a good product.  I sent tracing pix - it can't get any more custom than that :-)

support local on gloves??  ???

If thats a real concern shouldnt you be riding a Harley, Indian or Victory or maybe even one of those budget cafe racers from ClevelandCycleWorks? Dont get me wrong I'd take both your bikes over any of those. I'm just sayin...

Well, local business has to make a product you want first.

ab

Well I support local as in the States or made by a racer turned enterpriser but not blindly :-). As TripleJ stated local doesn't make the type of bike I want.  Harley and the others you mentioned doesn't appeal to me.

Hope that makes sense.  There is no hard rule.  We all make our choices based on our values as much as possible.

I will report back on the gloves when I receive it.

On a different topic , I also boycott Walmart. :)

Helimot gloves arrived. Breaking it in now.  So far so good.  Will report back end of season if anyone cares.

Only complaint , I ordered black and neon but I got black and orange.  Darn - I can live with it I guess, I didn't bother trying to change it.

Be patient...they take a while to beak in.  :) Sucks on the color.

That sucks. Not to be a dick but I think it sucks to wait for a long time, get the wrong colors, and then have a long break-in period once I want to start using them.

Do not want.

The color thing definitely sucks. The wait is because it sounds like they were custom though...and the break-in period is worth it. My Held gloves feel flimsy in comparison to my Helimots.
