Riding Boots/Shoes

If you can, go somewhere you can try them on. The sizes run different for all manufactures from length to width, etc. If you order online, you spend a fair amount in shipping if you have to send back multiple orders.

I really like the Sidi's, but they just didn't fit my feet. Some others were the right length, but I could pull them off my foot with little effort, meaning if I took a tumble I'd be wearing only socks. Not good.

Well after much back and fourth and watching plenty of videos on revzilla I ended up ordering the TCX X-Squared. They are considered "riding shoes" not as much protection as a full boot but still sufficient and comfortable.

If anyone has these tell me what you think of them. Thanks again all!

I bought Sidi Cobra Airs after reading through this thread. Plenty of protection and not too bad to walk around in. Would recommend them to anyone!

I ordered a pair of Icon 1000 Elsinore boots. They should arrive tomorrow. I'll post my thoughts once I get a few miles on them.
