My only issue would be the height. I'm short. I hope not to run into too much traffic on my commute.

I assume you are opposed to the Street Triple?  It is a little shorter, although still at the very max for me.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

That's the 11ty Billion dB Triple Thunder from GPR. Caveat about the exhaust: It makes you really slow as you're afraid your body will liquify if the tach continues to climb. [evil]

Your ear drums will burst into flames if you get within 150 yards of the damn thing!

Seriously, I'm shocked you haven't been thrown off the track due to that things noise.

Not a bad deal. Sold mine for almost a thousand more, with twice the miles. Might be worth a look for you Frederick.

They sold the Daytona but had a deal on the Street R. Closing the deal on the financing then waiting for my gear to arrive. I should have it home in 2 weeks.

congrats!  that's a great bike with a great engine... and if it's your only bike it'll be way more useful than a daytona.

That's what finally convinced me. I will mostly use it as a commuter with possibly one or 2 trackdays a year.

A great machine. You made a good choice.

I've said it before, but that 675 triple is a little jewel of a motor. I was leaning toward the Street Triple R before finally opting for the 1100evo. My choice came down to torque vs hp. That triple is always reaching for the next higher gear. In top gear, it feels as though there should be another up-shift on tap.

But the sound of that 675 at WOT is a religious experience.

Well done Duccarlos.

Thanks!

I just hope I can control the mod bug. Right now I'm just going to replace the mouse ears. I will try to stay away from any exhaust/suspension/brake mods.

Good luck with that!

Did you find a vaccination against the disease? I think the triples invite mods almost as much as the Monsters.

You have excellent taste!  I love mine.  I tried to keep the stock mirrors, but having had the CRGs previously, I had to get another set.  Please post pictures when you get it.
