To draw this out of the previous thread so anyone not paying attention to 'old' news but still has interest in a track day can see.

It appears that August 18,19,20 is the next time a number of the gang plan to pile in for a Roger Lyle day(s)
The 18th and 19th are the Shenandoah course and the 20th is Main.

As or right now I've heard solid interest from:
Me - 18th and 19th
Frank - 18th and 19th
Jim - 18th, 19th and 20th
JoeP - 18th or 19th
Brett - 18th and 19th
Pepe w/ Bianca - 18th or 19th

Maybe:

Randy - 20th, depending on hands

No:
Ananta - spending his bux at Cornerspeed and aint nothing wrong there.
Brian - depending on if he has a bike that functions  Grin

Obviously haven't spoken directly to everyone. So if you're interested pipe up. Aside from one issue, the first go went quite well and is a good time.

if you register, when you get to the  'Any notes you'd like to add:' field please note CAM/BAD and we *might* be able to get a small discount if enough people come.

Count me in as a maybe, I'll give a confirmation once I'm back.

Brian - I've got an old GS500 you can use for the track day. All you have to do is jet it and put back together!

Brett - I'm interested but don't think it's going to be realistic for me. Btw - the Shenandoah course is awesome!

I'm just about to pull the trigger on this trailer: trinity MT3. It's a three rail- open trailer.

Any input - positive or negative?

Would be good to see you out there!

Do you have a lap timer recommendation. I'd like to have something for august.

personally, I'd want 15" wheels for more common load rated trailer tire fitments...some of the smaller tires are becoming harder and sparcer to find...I know the 13's help give it a lower loading height, but still...I also wonder what the tongue weight on that thing is when loaded given how far back the axle is in relation to the bikes when loaded.

My ball is on the bumper at 22.5" and is rated at 500lb tongue weight. I almost want it loading that ball down to even out the truck/trailer. But that may just be novice silly talk. The tires are a concern but I don't know much about this stuff. Doesn't the Kendon have the same tire sizes?

every Kendon I have seen had 15" on it...but perhaps Gene can chime in since he owns one...

yes...it is silly talk...loading down the tongue lightens your steering and can make for a sketchy feel when going at highway speeds in how the vehicle tracks overall....
