my seat latch sucks gigantic donkey dicks boo i can barely get my sargent seat to latch in and, when i do, it's lost impossible to get it back out again (TWSS)

anyone know of a cool mod/upgrade/aftermarket option to the sh!tty old seat latch/lock mechanism? beyond simply removing it? i want to keep my seat and cowl for as long as possible, and would prefer they both stay on the bike laughingdp

Do you have room to adjust the tank forward?  Might help with the seat latch...

Is it because the little "dicky" is not aligned with the hole, or is it just not going in far enough?

The quick fix for getting most A/M seats to latch is to add a washer under each latch bolt on the frame.

I just removed the rear rubber feat....if you don't ride two up it shouldn't make a difference.
