Howdy buoys and girls  Wink

Has anyone spotted this guy on bikesales recently? http://tinyurl.com/cheapcheapm1100s
Seems too good to be true?! I have not called the dealer yet, but would love to go down there and check it out!

Although I'd not be able to legally ride it for another 10 months, I reckon it would be too awesome to not buy it and park it in the shed until I can ride it  waytogo (assuming it's not a repaired write-off, has all keys, etc etc)

Usually when something seems to be too good to be true - it is.

Be very, very cautious.

It would be difficult to judge the dealer's integrity over the phone.

I doubt Frasers would try selling a previously binned bike Kyle, I have a couple of contacts who could know someone working there so i'll put some feelers out for you if you like.

It could just be that they actually want to sell it.

The majority of bikes on bikesales just sit there, month after month. Their owners have put pretty unrealistic prices on them. Other people selling bikes look at the inflated prices and assume they're the going rate.

Hey Kyle

I'm in the same position mate, thinking about upgrading a little early due to a good deal. Ive only got 4 months to wait though, and I'm sure if I do get this bike now, it'll be a very long 4 months drooling over it in the garage;

I agree with Suzy though, majority of bikes on bikesales are way overpriced and sit for a long time. I just missed out on a titanium s4rt for $10k( deposit taken an hour before i went to look at it  bang head), but it sat there for 3-4 weeks, and dropped in price every week from 13k.

It was gutted at the time, but less than two weeks later and another good deal has come up. Realistic sellers do pop up quite often, so don't think another one will never come up at that price, cause one will eventually.

But do your homework on this seller/bike and if it checks out and its gonna put a smile on your dial,  I reckon go for it...

Possibly not that cheap.Depending on condition if it has been left out in the weather or garaged , could be up for tyers, chain, plus a service, plus transfer rego 3%($390) etc
To give you an idea i saw this at frazers concord  December 2011
they had two brand new 2010 m1100 monsters $17.990 each ride away, were $20,990

I took that photo ,the price notice was in the back ground of the beemer i took a snap of,  i couldn't enlarge it any more  a bit grainy .
The beemer was $32k Btw
