Ouch, I'm surprised they didn't arrest you to be honest.  Double the limit qualifies for some hefty action.  Especially 61 over

While I lived in Austin, Williamson County is notorious for slapping down speeding tickets.

It was a female state trooper, I tried my best to charm her (even though she wasn't very attractive).  I did have here calling me baby doll before she let me go but no drop in speed on the ticket.  She also told me I had a beautiful bike right before I left.  I would have done indecent things to her to get out of that ticket  Evil.

Damn... Sorry you didn't get off...

So I'm up at the bar ordering a brewski... this old bar fly sitting close calls me over... She says "you know the definition to indecent" I'm like.... What?
She goes on, not missing a beat... If you're big enough, hard enough, in far enough... Then you're in decent!

Shoulda asked the heater if she knew what indecent meant. HA!

Not sure, but I'd think your insurance would be the bigger bother.

Where in Will Co were you?

I was on old mcneil about a quarter mile from the travis county line, which sucks because if it would have happened in travis my wife could have probably taken care of it because she works for Travis county court.   What kind of jump in insurance should I expect, I know it's gonna be a huge jump, but how huge double, triple?  I had a clean driving record before this.

Dude....this sucks..... Sad

If you had a CDL, you'd probably be furloughed from your job, as the DOT in there infinite wisdom, thinks you're unable to intelligently make decisions....I'm not flying a freakin plane after all.....

So were you by the cement plant?  Were they hiding out @ the entance to the plant?  I see 'em sitting there all the time....

Crap, I have no idea what the ins hit would be...but I'm reading the writing on the wall and am going to slow down!!! waytogo  Trackdays are going to have to do for now...

++++++++ absolutely.  it WILL be worth it.  i might ask around before i hired just any lawyer though.  i don't have any experience in this dept., but see if you can get any feedback of a good 'motorcycle' lawyer in your area.
