Cakeman

You can't put a price on peace of mind, what your selling is more than a mere asset, it's a symbol of freedom. Make sure it's replaced waytogo

Bikes are for buying, not selling!   Evil

I bought the monster 17 years ago then later became a single unemployed dad.
couldn't even afford tyres to ride it....
I told myself that I'll never sell it! even if it became unregistered because of lack of fun tickets, it will still be mine.

Most of us are still here, Brian included.
There are always people who come and go and people who just drop in from time to time.

It has been quite here for a while and certainly as Heather said the very wet conditions have not helped with regular rides.
Most seem to just throw things together whenever the sky is clear.

Got a small problem here. Tried to start it yesterday and as expected the battery was dead. But it on the trickle charger for 24hrs, nothing.

Connected it to another batter charger, whilst pluged in at the wall and on the battery, the speed and rpm needles go about half way when i turn it to and and stop there, engine light is on.

ive disconnected the battery all together and attempted to charge it but its showing that its charged on the battery charger.....

Any ideas??? Most probably will need a new battery im guessing???

With that in mind i'll offer $5500 as-is  Grin

Grab your jumper leads and try to start it. Do not ever try to start anything while connected to a charger.

Ok Andrew,

About time someone here offered you some helpful advice re your dilemma.
Firstly, that blue bucket of bolts isn't worth a cracker so you may as well keep it in your garage. I hope this won't throw you on a possible sale in here but i do know its history re fuelling etc etc......(Kyle, just give me a call and i'll fill you in).
Plus, did I read it correctly...?     "The Missus"      sais you have to sell.......?          Really....?
You haven't "come out" and told her as yet...?    I did room with you remember.......    coffee
Your "M.....mmmmmm.....Missus"     sais you have to sell   ?    You soft cocked wog Andy.....  And you are Italian...?
Grow some balls you miserable sod, buy a bloody battery, then come on out on the ride that Wobbart is trying to organise in here. Looks like no one is interested so one more will save him from cancelling the ride plus the embarrasment of not being popular.     Grin
I now need to check my calendar,.........is this a belated April fools joke    ?

Brian

I guess most newbies haven't met Andrew/Cakeman so here  is the guy in action up the old road as a budding photographer    ....      waytogo

And of course it won't start you shit. cos its very upset with you.
Your bike by now knows what you are intending to do with it and obviously, its finding it very hard to come to grips with your lack of love.

That looks like a nice background in that photo (the old Hi-ace) did we ever see the results of this photographic session.
