Ok seeing the S4Rs didn't come off (yet) now looking to improve on what I have.

Was thinking a Wilbers 641 on the back and re-doing the valving & springs in the forks to suit my impressive frame (aka fat frame).

The Australian distributor ASR in Melbourne now lists "Suspension Improvements" in Brisbane as one of the retailers for Wilbers and I spoke to them today about reconfiguring the bike to best suit my riding style and weight.

So anyone have any feedback on the work performed by them?

All I've seen to date was a complaint on Facebook but that doesn't represent the "skill & knowledge" of this eminent forum.

work out what you plan to spend on the S2R then add that to your offer for the S4RS, cause you won't get it back once you spend it on the S2R.

Put a Wilbers on my s4r 3 years back.Best thing i ever did!!!! except dropped a bolt in the swing arm.Still there!Got the fast \ slow compression tweaked (over a few years) Stuck a 14 tooth on the front. The back end , so planted, love it!Best thing i like doing (if the conditions are ok) as in , no one around, hot Pirelli Angels , a strong coffee ,leaned over, comming out of a tight corner in second, give the throttle a good whack, front end up back it off a fraction,go 3rd (no clutch)while straitening up, the front end slightly crossed  (to get it tracking straight)  then bring it down nice, under power . When all that comes together , i car"nt stop laughing! All because of the Wilbers  !!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Dunno about Suspension Improvements but Speedys at Sumner Park did valves and springs etc front and rear on my S4R. The guys are friendly and know what they are talking about.

If that helps...
