Hi all,

New Monster owner here and looking to upgrade the exhaust on my 2012 M796. Love the look and sound of the Vance and Hines CS1 exhaust. However their website only list it as available for 2010 and 2011.

Anyone put this on their 2012? I don't think anything has changed from 2011 to 2012 but hate to drop money into this and find out there was some variation that does not allow proper installation.

Have emailed V&H. Two responses back from them. One person says is will work. The other person responded saying that have not had a 2012 796 in their shop so they cannot confirm fitment for this year.

Really appreciated if someone could give me some confirmation that will work on my 2012. I don't want to be the guinea pig. Smiley

Thanks,

I would check the OEM schematics and compare part numbers between the two bikes, if there are no different part numbers in the involved parts I would think you would be good to go.

Clearly you must show pics if you get it.

it will work, pipes are the same, the only one that changed the exhaust was the 1100 evo

Awesome. That is good news.

Gonna do some searching for good price. Will post a few pics when they come in and are installed.

Can anyone confirm fitment of the Vance and Hines CS1 exhaust on a 2014 Monster 796?
