Yes, but Kevin was flat out. He's in a position to fit our job in soon,  I checked in on his machine shop thread.
The rear axles will be drilled.

FROM KEVIN/Monsterlover: As far as who wants an axle, add your name to the list below.  This is for 17mm rears only at the moment and for folks that are for sure in on the deal.

1. Carbmon (Alan in TX) you have my contact info via email; firm commit for 1 to fit Al M900 swingarm
2. JV - committed two (2) 17mm Al M900/M900S swingarm
3. Koko- (1) 17mm Al M900/M900S swingarm
                  (1) 17mm Al SS/SL swingarm , (will confirm measurements).
4. monsta - one (1) 17mm Ally swinger M900

Correct me if I'm wrong but this list is accurate?  COP TZR if you want in add your name.  Koko - need you to confirm that SS/SL sizing is the same as the Monster axle or just go with the Monster axle.

Things are definitely busy at the shop.  I've been quoting a ton of stuff lately and I don't think they're all going to be dead end quotes, which is nice.  These axles will get fit in as we can do them.  I don't have any gaging to check the threads with other than wires and the oem ducati axle nut.  Between those two the fit should be fine.

Everyone who wants a 17mm ti rear axle for alloy swingarm M900  can confirm on this thread and get your money ready. Kevin will need firm numbers and payment when he is ready to proceed.

Well, here's where I'm at.

I'm an idiot.  The drill I wanted for these is obsolete and there are no more.  I used to sell these tools and I liked what this company had because they worked well and were priced right.  I expected maybe $125 for the drill.

It's replacement is in the $450 range.  I can't use it to do these without a major price increase.  I should have checked on this earlier.  I did not expect the old tool to be gone. 

I can still do them for the $195 but without the through hole.  Alternatively, perhaps I could drill and tap the ends of these axles and we could all collaborate and engineer a method to attach axle sliders with a standard bolt?  I've never used sliders on axles so I have no idea how they attach.

 I'm out on the rear axle idea.
I sent you front and rear 17 inchers for templates. So they are there for people who want to order ti versions. I'll get them off you when its all done.
How much for a couple of fronts?

normally the slider threads onto a small rod that goes inside the hole of the axle.  not sure we'd want to thread the inside of the axle as a crash could pull the bolt such that it buggers up the axle itself. 

if we can put 'em on hold for a brief bit, i'd still be good to go on two rears and would bear some of the cost of the drill for having hollow axles on my two axles.   but i'm in the midst of an office move that's only going half-way according to plan
