Got some Woodcraft rearsets, and installed the CRG bar end mirrors.





I developed some flat spots in my acceleration. I was kinda of expecting that since I went to an aftermarket exhaust. Need to get a tunable ignition module. Possibly an exhaust valve emulator to?

Going to machine some custom heel guards for the rearsets. Thinking about removing the plastic tray that holds my tool roll, and making a billet piece to house the new ignition module.

Figured a few people have, but I haven't. Most of the bikes I work on were made before fuel injection. Just looking for a bit more info about it.

It's pretty easy. finding the  right map isn't unless you have access to a dyno

So just some basic wiring then. Probably will take it to this place near Atlanta, Georgia called Ducshop. They prep Ducati motorcycles for track use, so doing a dyno tune on my bike should be no problem for them.  

Also, looking for some suggestions for places to mount the box. Only place I can think of is under the seat, where my tool kit is and I kinda do not want to get rid of that.

Wired up a Power Commander and plugged in an exhaust valve emulator. Also wrapped the exhaust, but I might take it back off, not sure. No more engine warning light. Just need to get it tuned and the bike should be running smooth again Smiley. Mounted the boxes temporarily, going to make a seat tray that holds all of them. 



Also, I messed around with some designs for the heel guards. Have two so far that I would consider using, so I made some cardboard templates to get a better idea of how they would look.

Definitly option 2.  Also did you happen to use silicon paint on your header wrap?  I had wrapped my header a few months back and it faded already.  Ended up having to paint it.  Also are you planning on clip ons or any changes to the bars?  Just sayin that lowering the guages cleans up the front end look pretty well  waytogo

No I didn't paint the wrap. I also did it without removing the exhaust, so it is not even in one or two places. Thinking hard about taking it off and redoing it. Know of any paint that still gives the wrap a "naked" look?

I have some big plans for the front end. Will be changing the bars, headlight, and at least powder coating the stock top triple clamp.

Due to my location i cant get paint shipped too easily so for my wrap i just used high temp grill paint.  I plan on using black silicon paint when i get back to the states though.  Lucky for you with the QD its a pretty open header.  Mine had to be removed to get it wrapped properly.  Even still i need some more to complete the rear cylinder header.  Here is a pic before the paint mind you it faded after a few hundred miles... And here is a pic after

So with all that machining equipment how hard would it be to fathom up a better looking rear axle slider?  I like what rizoma offers as it completes the wheel and properly covers the axle nut assembly but its sooo pricey!  Ive been trying to come up with a better design but havent found what im looking for.  CNC has a descent looking one as well....

It wouldn't be much trouble to turn you some parts similar to those slider assemblies, but much cleaner looking. I can beat the price of the Rizoma sliders, but not the CNC ones.

I'm thinking something with no exposed hardware of the open side of the swingarm. So picture the Rizoma slider, but as a solid piece with no bolt head showing. Is that what you are after, or are you looking for something drastically different from the parts you can buy?

Thanks man, like the changes you made to your bike to. Those oberon bar end signals are clean looking. What do you think about them?

Its just the stock optimizer that came with the P.C. V .  Going to guess they repackaged it in to one box, but I am not sure. Told the guy that sold the kit to me that I was kinda short on space. He talked a lot about how much more compact the system was now than it used to be.

Also got the stock for my heel guards. Going to machine them out tomorrow.
