Cool, I really like harness style boots. My dad had a pair when he was my age.
Owned tons of motorcycle gear since I started riding. Everything from no gear (stupid I know, now i'm ATGATT) to track suits. The most comfortable setup to ride in: leather boots, leather gloves, mid-weight jacket, jeans, and a Shoei.

Monster update:
New sprockets / carrier and chain showed up. Hub will not be here for weeks
so I am using the stock one till it gets here.
Removed the stock stuff:
Junk screwdrivers work great if you need to wedge a sprocket in place to wrench of a bolt or nut:
New vs. old sprocket setup. Went from 15/39 to 15/41 plus a 520 chain:
Cleaned, greased, and installed the crush drives and hub spacer in the new carrier:
New lightened front sprocket on:
Rear sprocket on:
Finished:
The red chain looks so
. Now I just need the hub to show up.

Almost forgot.
Me and a few of the people I ride with are going to Vintage days at Barber's Motorsports tomorrow. Let me know if any of you guys will be there. Would be cool to meet a few people from DMF.

Hey guys, been a long time since I had a chance to do an update. Been getting caught up at work since I took a few days off for the Barber's Vintage Festival.
Vintage days:
Had to get a photo of this bike:
Me, tooling around on the track:
Met the guys behind a company called Motus. They produce an unusual bike with a very cool powertrain. Definitely going to pick up an engine from them when I get a chance.
Got invited to a bike night they were hosting. Ran into some very interesting people there. Talked with Pierre Terblanche for a while, he has designed several bike for Ducati: Supermono, sportclassic, hypermotard....
Motus' motorcycle:
Ran into Bellissimoto. Been dealing with them for a while, so it was nice to finally talk in person. Cool group of guys, Highly recommend them if you need any thing for your bike. Swapped keys with them a few times the Bimota, and the ST4 Streetfigter are some awesome bikes to ride.

. The neck and rake kit will get welded on shortly. I also did a bit of body work on the headlight fairing. Its one of the few pieces we are reusing.
Frame chop:
Body work:
Front wheel is in
:
Boat:
Power steering pump is finished and installed:

Help me make up my mind again.
You guys really helped out when I was looking for a sprocket setup. So I was thinking you could help me out again. Going to make a custom, one piece under seat tray for my Monster. Need some suggestions on some integrated tail lights to mount in it.
Kinda all over the place on this one. Considering everything from universal kits, to stealing a light off a Suzuki SV.

I kinda like those SV lights, or maybe get some tail lights off a Diavel. Ya know? Keep it in the Ducati family!!!
I gotta say I'm pretty confident you will come up with something sick!!! I'd even offer to pay for one if you made one for me!

Did a lot of looking around ended up going with a light off a SV. Found one for cheap, besides I always really liked the newer style SV taillight. Not sure how hard it would be to replicate the under seat tray I am going to make. If its not too complicated and there is enough interest I might produce a short run of them.
Monster update:
Got a taillight off a wrecked SV. Just need to figure out the under seat tray to mount it in. Also I do not like clear lenses, going to find a stock red lens to swap onto it.
SV integrated taillight:
Added some red to the rear subframes. Only took me a few hours, and I think it really improves the look of the frame.
Nice tools:
Rear subframe paint:
I know the paint looks a bit orange in the photos due to the flash on my phone. Trust me, I got an exact paint match.
.
Did the work at a place called Brown's Auto Body. I apprenticed there when I was little, so they let me use the place on the weekends. The cars below belong to the owner. He is a cool older guy that has around 100-150 cars and races at a local dirt track.
Random stuff that was there:

Shop update:
Bagger:
Squared the neck with the frame and welded it back on. Ended up with about a 1 inch stretch in the back bone and 9 more degrees of rake. Also got some rubber on the new wheel.
Front wheel:
Some idea of how far the neck moved:
welds: I need more practice
.
Boxing out the joint for strength:
Norton:
Changed the rear tire. Also found out I need brake pads. Ordered a new set, should be here in 7-10 days.
Removed the wheel:
Almost dead brake pad:
Checked the tube for wear:
New tire on, and wheel balanced / trued:
Scuffed up the new tire with a 2+ hour ride

. Just swapped my street tires back on to the bike. Took a few photos of the track tires - Dunlop D209GPA. Med/soft rear, Med front.
Track Tires:

Harley Sportster 883:
Now that it is getting cold out, my parents are more or less done riding for this season. There are a few things my mom wants done to her bike. Just ordered a bunch of parts, should be here this weekend.
Requested modifications - Rear fender chop
Custom seat
Change the air cleaner
Different rear wheel to match the front
Mid foot controls
Different hand controls / handle bars
Possibly a lowering kit
The bike right now (bone stock):
