Yup, it's supposed to sound like that....

Took Stella the S4 as she has been dubbed by a friend for a 2 hr. ride.   First, nothing like riding my S2R.  Much more torquer and I can feel the obvious power difference.  She's also heavier.  Not as flickable at the moment, guess the OZ wheels have spoiled me.  Need to fix the ergo's too upright and the rear sets have to go.  Love the bike though.  Tons of fun to ride and learning shall be an experience.

Now to find the rights parts.

continue posting pics of the mods.  glad you like the difference and you'll soon find the weight (flickability) is nothing at all once you get into the bike.  I felt the same on my S4 for about.......10 miles.  laughingdp

Parts arrived today.  Work to commence shortly.

Mulling over pulling some parts off the S2R.  The S4's triple and bars are god awful ugly and I'm not a fan of those 916 style masters.  Will most likely pull the Speedymoto triple, 848 masters, woodcraft clipons, reservoirs and gas cap and move them over.

Anyone know what other tanks will work with an S4?  I've tried reading the tank thread but the whole thing gets confusing after a while and looking up the parts # with Ducati Omaha tells me a 620 will work, could that be right??

AFAIK, only S4 and steel S4R will fit.

The tanks from air-cooled FI Monsters have a bulge on the inner left side that interferes with the vertical head on a 4-valver.

You could fit some 749/999 10-spokers, but it's not a bolt-on.
Rear axle is bigger (30mm IIRC) and front wheel has 5-bolt disc mounting.
